Sunday's Whisky is an authentically Japanese, small-batch spirit crafted from a blend of world grain whiskies. Distilled twice and aged between 3 to 9 years in various casks—including ex-bourbon, port, sherry, and wine barrels—the whisky is then blended and diluted with pristine alkaline water from Koriyama's nearby springs. This meticulous process results in a rounded, viscous mouthfeel with soft, slightly sweet undertones.
On the nose, Sunday's Whisky presents aromas of yuzu, sugar snap pea, and apple cider donut. The palate reveals notes of cocoa, fresh mint, and waffle, leading to a finish highlighted by sweet baking spices, pink peppercorn, and barley. Designed with the Japanese highball in mind, this whisky maintains its character when mixed, offering a balanced and refreshing experience.
