You can find Israels most striking vineyards in the Upper Galilee. Located in Israels Hefer Valley in Upper Galilee, the Recanati Winery is owned by Lenny Recanati, a native of Israel with ancestral roots stretching back to Italy.

This round Cabernet Sauvignon has firm tannins, medium body, and solid acidity. Flavors of cranberry, plum, cherry, raspberry, spice, herbs, and pomegranate with nuances of truffle, dark chocolate, and roasted almond wake up the smooth palate. Try with rich stews, game, casseroles and robust vegetarian entrees.
