ArteNOM Selección de 1579 Blanco Tequila is a premium spirit crafted by master distiller Felipe Camarena at the El Pandillo Distillery in Jesús-María, Jalisco, Mexico. This tequila is produced using 100% blue Weber agave, which is steam-roasted in brick ovens for 30 hours, including a 6-hour pre-roast to melt off bitters, and a 6-hour cool-down. The agave is then macerated intact with its fibers by a mechanical tahona to extract the juice, and the spirit is double distilled in copper pot stills. Prior to bottling, the tequila undergoes a 24-hour oxygenation process to enhance its flavors.
On the nose, this blanco tequila offers aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, and citrus, with additional herbal and mint notes emerging over time. The palate presents a sweet agave entry, building to a milky orange peak, and fading with orange peel and steamed agave. The finish is characterized by mineral, mint, bittersweet agave fiber, floral, and black pepper notes.
The bottle features a sleek, modern design that reflects the artisanal craftsmanship of the tequila. ArteNOM Selección de 1579 Blanco Tequila is available in a 750ml bottle and is known for its additive-free production, ensuring a pure and authentic tasting experience.
